Lyrics

Words are a dynamic force in helping us to understand and express the human experience. The significance of lyricism is immeasureable for it crosses historical and cultural paradigms. Relationships are helped or hinderd by them. Confucius said, words are the voice of the heart. Aeschylus said, words are the healers of the sick- tempered.

The lack of them can create a sick temper.

There is a song that speaks of a heart broken by words somebody left unspoken. That song was Indian Summer, wirtten in 1919 by the prolific Irish music composer Victor Herbert. Yet another great provocateur, Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "words are alive... cut them and they bleed. They bleed the human experience.

In that vein, here are the words to help us experience the sentiments in the tunes recorded by Adelaide Ruble & Fascinatin' Rhythm on Come Fly With Me.
